Children Home "Human Dreams India"

Anyone that has ever experienced a child, consisting only of skin and bones, literally coming back to life after intensive care, would want to help other children with similar fates as little Ganesh:
"Rescue at the last moment"

Ganesh smiles again
and is healed (Dec 2004)

Ganesh ill and emaciated (Dec 2003)

Ganesh slowly
gains weight
Nicole cares for Ganesh
for six months

So that other children can find their smiles again, we founded a Children Home for children who require full and intensive care: Human Dreams India

to practice walking

In a rented house on the outskirts of New Delhi, we run a family-type home for up to six children, who require full and intensive care. Deepti, our social work, Urmila and Geeta, our caregivers, Jyoti, a physiotherapist and Rajbeer, a nurse, care for the neglected children under the supervision of Nicole Mtawa or her representative at the Children Home Human Dreams India. In addition, we conduct regular house visits for five additional severely ill or multi-handicapped children and provide them with medical treatment.

Our first child Milap (12) was admitted in May 2011. Milap suffers from bone tuberculosis and cerebral palsy. After having been bed-ridden for almost a year, he was able to start walking practice after only a few weeks.

Planned Children Village in Tanzania

Now that our children home in India is running in a pleasurable routine, we are developing new plans. At the end of 2013, we would like to buy property in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in order to establish a Children Village for multi-handicapped and severely ill children. The children village is intended to house 25 children and to help many more that come for therapy or treatment on an out-patient basis.
